Vanadinite is a mineral in the vanadate family. It is composed of vanadium, lead, oxygen and chlorine. This stone is sometimes found in lead deposits in the upper oxidized sections. More specifically, this stone is relatively rare and can be found in Morocco, the state of New Mexico and the state of Arizona. You may notice that this stone has an interesting and quite mesmerizing composition. It features prismatic crystals that are often red, orange-red, brownish-red, brown or yellow. These crystals can actually sometimes be hollow!
